Primary period of use: 1923-1940

These postmarks were used to promote a variety of activities or public events in Luxembourg and to encourage people to purchase certain items (Caritas postage stamps, lottery tickets). In most cases, each is part of a larger postmark that also includes a town name and date in a circle to the right of the text of the promotional panel. The numbers used are from the FSPL postmark catalog.
