Precancelled stamps were issued by Luxembourg between 1900 and 1925. There are two basic types, shown below.

Type used from 1900 to 1908.

"Luxembourg-Ville" and year in a rectangle.
Type used from 1908 to 1925.

Two lines: "Luxembourg" on the top line and
the last two digits of the year on the bottom.
